Spooky season book time!

Guys this books was a super good read. I particularly love the authors comments on those with disabilities and how they are often left behind in an emergency.

Okay, I reealllyyy wanted to like this book and the first could of chapters in, I really did.

While the book is set in the 1920s, the age gap between the protagonist and their love interest is definitely not it.

This year, I have been really focusing on trans authors and mc's. Being Non Binary in America right now is a really hard time, but reading these beautiful trans stories of finding themselves and their family has really helped to heal my heart.

I had been looking for a different book by the same author but found this during a penny-a-page last week. When starting a book within the first chapter or 2, I can usually guess what the ending rating will be. I thought this might be a 3 star for me, but how wrong I was.
