I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

Did Donald Trump delay until Pam Bondi's DOJ were done "cleaning up" the Epstein Files? Does anyone really believe all the DOJ's attorneys and all the DOJ's men haven't already edited out Humpty Dumpty's name from the files?

In 2022 after Donald Trump got caught stealing top secret documents he told his attorney to just "pluck out" any incriminating evidence from the files, so 0 hope the public will ever see much after Pam Bondi's 1000s of attorneys have been plucking for months? enewspaper.latimes.com/infinity/art...

$2 billion in bribes seemed to work?
Seems like a good day to remind everyone that Jared Kushner advised Saudi Crown Prince MBS on how to “weather the storm” after his hit squad slaughtered American journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Trump's standard MO: when something's already going to happen, make it look like he made it happen.

Just like Donald Trump stops wars when he wakes up, hears settlement negotiations are almost done, and sends a PR team to claim some credit, Donald Trump finally realized the House is already going to vote to release the Epstein files, so that's when he says to the House release the Epstein files.

Something familiar is happening…

In the civil rights era, they smeared leaders as “communist” to break their credibility and stall their momentum. It was the easiest way to silence dissent and turn justice movements into supposed security threats.

These folks deserve everything they get, but the rest of the country is suffering because of their stupidity.
How much of a moron do you have to be to STILL, after all the shit that has gone down, remain an enthusiastic shill for this obviously incompetent con man.

@devincow.bsky.social The Eisenhower Executive Office Building, one of the most architecturally significant and historic structures in Washington DC, was built between 1871 and 1888, and despite strict laws against doing it, Donald Trump wants to paint it palatial white to match his personal tastes.

There needs to some discussion about these companies having an ultimate goal of using AI to replace most of their employees with a workforce they can own.

Donald Trump acts like he has the brain of a spoiled teenage girl who's just been suspended from grade school.

@devincow.bsky.social California used to have rolling blackouts called Flex Alerts when there were spikes in energy use, but not anymore because 1/2 of the entire US energy storage capacity has been built in California enewspaper.latimes.com/infinity/art...

Project 2025 that Donald Trump claimed he knew nothing about?
Yes, sadly it is real.

Wondering if the LA Times gets brownie points from Donald Trump for multiple front page stories about a FORMER employee of California Governor Newsom being accused of fraud and burying stories about current Trump Administration and Trump family members actually committing fraud and other crimes now?

Hard to understand how some folks can believe a guy who one minute tells them something is doing great, and then the next minute also believe him when he tells them he's going to fix it?
Too little, too late.

Can't argue with that.
The only person whose standard of living has improved during this Trump term is Ghislaine Maxwell.

Stephen Miller wants to turn back the clock to 1950 and Donald Trump thinks there's enough hate in the world he can stoke to benefit himself.

Not unexpected a Republican Party that became a pyramid of corruption led by Donald Trump, a party of lackeys trained to look away when there's corruption on their team, will start one by one to want more of the $ benefits of that corruption to flow to themselves.

Hey Pam Bondi. This is John Mitchell. Gird your loins because you actually work for the people and not the president and you will eventually find out what that means.

@devincow.bsky.social If corporations and billionaire oligarchs are allowed to replace their human workforce with a robotic workforce they own, doesn't that basically recreate an economic system similar to slavery?
November 15, 2025 at 4:59 PM
@devincow.bsky.social Why isn't there more of a consensus that creating robots to do what humans can't do helps humanity, but creating robots just to replace humans only helps the companies that own the robots?
