When Watt cites “Safeguard Mechanism as an effective way of controlling emissions”, you should know SM only applies to direct (scope 1) GHG emissions of 🇦🇺's largest emitters

SM doesn't cover emissions produced from 🇦🇺’s Coal+Gas exports that make up ~80% of 🇦🇺’s contribution to global emissions 1/

Thanks for sharing this, as we often hear #ClimateAction is not about individual choices. I don't disagree with this list but I think it's missing most powerful measure, which is voting!

Jo, und Das halt mit Ansage. #TonySeba hat klar es vorhergesagt. Die waren halt alle zu sehr damit beschäftigt ihre #cleanDiesel Lüge aufrecht zu erhalten, haben ihre Tesla-Anteile verscherbelt und nun kaufen sie sich bei den Chinesen ein um Abschreiben zu dūrfen.

Kapiere ich auch nicht. Zwei Jahre in der Schweiz gelebt, wohl alle die SBB/Bahn lieben. Hier in Victoria hat man die Ticketpreise auf 11 Dollar / 7 EUR pro Tag beschränkt weshalb nun viel mehr Leute Bahn fahren.
Von Aussen betrachtet sucht man in Deutschland immer nur Gründe um zu Spalten.

I don't care about a public holiday for a football game, but I am happy for those who care.
At least I can use the hammer drill in my shop and run my lawnmower from Mad Max in my garden, and nobody cares. Having lived in Germany, Switzerland and Singapore, this means #Freedom to me!

The #wickingbed planter box next to my shop needed a little makeover. So I patched it up with some cut offs from the side of the road. I am sure it will last another couple of tomato seasons. Oh, and relocated the stinging nettles to my garden ;) #GrowFoodNotLawns #GardeningAustralia

62% isn't a reasonable climate target for Australia, it is robbing Australian lives and livelihoods for the benefit of the ALP's coal and gas donors.

The dividend on that investment was already paid in full with credulous regulators and infinite tax loopholes. This is their free gift with purchase.
