I mean yes this is funny, but the fact that these unconstitutional stormtroopers are so directionless that they literally stand around waiting for random nonwhite delivery guys to bike past them is just pathetic. No mandate, no mission, no clue. Just racism.
ICE attempted
and failed to disappear a food delivery guy.
It needed to be scored.

Does anyone else find the Murderbot series on Apple TV good, but the half-hour episodes frustrating as hell? If you take into account the recap and intro credits, it is about 20 minutes of new programming. Breaks up the rapid flow of the story.

I do not use AI for any writing, but have gotten so paranoid that a magazine editor might run detection software and find I wrote something that sounds like AI, that I run everything through an AI detector to make sure. The threat of being permanently banned scares me almost as much as deportation.

I am officially tired of retreaded dystopia stories and TV series. That's why I'm drawn to fresh stories with imaginative futures from John Scalzi, Ray Nayler, Adrian Tchaikovsky, Ted Chiang, and Arkady Martine, to name a few.

I just finished reading Octavia Butler's Blood Child, a collection of SF short stories. I highly recommend it, especially if you are writing SF short fiction. It contains spectacular stories.

Is it just me, or does RFK Jr look like he might be undead?

Not that I will make a difference. I am boycotting CNN after they showed cowardness by letting Trump scare them into losing Jim Acosta. We will soon not have a free press

Being named by Trump's "Do Not Hire" roster is number 3 on my bucket list.

I look at lists for SF movies or TV series; half are superhero shows. When did superhero stuff become SF? There is no science in people getting superpowers from getting bit by a spider. (my stupid rant of the day)

I think Trump's talk about making Canada a state is from late-night watching of South Park the movie. He believes it was a documentary. www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOR3...

I have zero tolerance for the idiots who during the current arctic freeze say things like. “Where is global warming now?” It will not be nuclear war that end us, it will come from stupidity.

I am afraid 2025 will be the year AI's figure out how to draw human hands, and the president will figure out the rules of when to capitalize words. Both could be the end of humans.

I always wanted two books, Wind-Up Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi and Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky to be made into movies, after seeing the new series Secret Level mind blowing animation, I believe it is possible.

thought my escaped monkey's obsession drove me to believe that their escape and the drone sightings had to be connected. Well, I am not crazy. I zoomed up a picture of one of the drones. Bingo,

I loved the Dune story but have always been bothered by the personal shields and lasers. So the shield keeps you from getting shot but a laser hitting a shield can cause an explosion that could take out the planet. Hmmm

I see all the woman bots have moved here and are sending me friend invites. Amazing how young and hot they all are. I must be something.
