I use cardboard boxes for the games themselves, but those go inside rolling suitcases so there's less carrying of heavy items in my arms. I've also found that I prefer 4 smaller suitcases over 2 enormous ones.

hot take: I dislike the current generation AirPods. I hate how short the stalks are and I hate that you have to full-on grasp them and click to interact with their functionality. What was wrong with the touch sensitive tap they used to have?

For a professional sound guy, my video camera has been getting a surprising amount of use this past month!

GIMP is a photoshop alternative (though laid out a little differently, so there's definitely a learning curve to re-train yourself), and Davinci Resolve replaces Premiere with the same caveat (the vfx system being in a different tab and working on nodes is a whole new way of thinking).

I have a friend taking grad classes & she has expressed extreme frustration at one class mate who always turns in obv. artificially written content for group projects. She and others have called them out on it (because the professor has made it clear that it is cheating), but this person just shrugs
