Yep, it has a disproportionate effect on Canada, as well as Mexico and Central America. For all the responsibility and power the US has, its leaders are often not wielding it well.

I've had recurrent Achilles tendon injuries, had some issues with my knees too (patello-femoral pains), and over a longer period of time the best way to build back was to strengthen these areas.

In this early stage of the injury the advice will generally be to rest it, it's the only way really. But when the injury heals up, you can get started on some light exercises to build up and strengthen the muscles. I'd always follow physio advice, it's easy to overdo things and reinjure yourself.

Visiting Warszawa later this month, and one of the plans is meeting with a cousin from my mother's side whom I've not seen since 2006 when she was about 10. Pretty excited, she's been through a lot since, and she is one of my closest relatives, so really hoping to reconnect a little.
