“We can come together as communities and build a better world.”

We were so lucky to have the inspirational author and naturalist @dara_mcanulty at this year’s Greenbelt. We love him SO much and (it seems) the feeling is entirely mutual.

The No Fly Zone stage had daily shows from our friends like @padraigotuama and @harrybaker all weekend. Here’s Pádraig talking Dante with Jamaican poet laureate Lorna Goodison.

You can still buy an NFZ pass and enjoy all these shows until the end of October. noflyzone.greenbelt.org.uk

We loved welcoming Carla Denyer to Greenbelt this summer. Here she is doing three of our favourite things. Speaking truth to power, hymning the power of protest and reciting poetry.

We love Anna’s answer (and dungarees). What keeps *you* coming back to Greenbelt?

“What a beautiful thing it is…” Thank you for making it so. Let’s do it all again next year.
A vibrant outdoor festival scene filled with diverse attendees, colourful flags, and a lively atmosphere in a lush green landscape. A child in colourful butterfly leggings holds a paddle, preparing to hit a tennis ball in a grassy outdoor setting. A young couple sits on the grass, enjoying each other's company at an outdoor event, surrounded by a lively atmosphere.

Here’s a taster of the deeply fascinating conversation between writers Hannah Silva and Alice Wroe, at this summer’s Greenbelt. They talked about why AI isn’t a) artificial b) intelligent and c) so much more besides.

Happy #NationalPoetryDay to all the verse lovers out there. To mark the day, here’s the wonderful Georgie Jones giving us her poem ‘In Praise of Platonic Love’, recorded at this year’s Greenbelt.

By now we hope you’ve had some time for the news that we’ll be leaving Boughton after Greenbelt 2026 to sink in. We’ve absolutely loved our time there, and this film shows why it’s such a special place. We hope you’ll join us next year to give our seventh home a glorious send-off.
Greenbelt 2025 on Super 8
We hope you like this festival film shot for us this summer by our friends at Manto, using a Super 8 camera. We hope you enjoy reliving this year’s wonderful festival, and that you’ll join us next…

Adjoa Andoh covered it all in her conversation with and Chine McDonald at Greenbelt: God, acting, cigarettes, cow-milking, motherhood. Plenty of inspiration, provocation, and laughs. Here are a few gems.

Listen to the full talk on our site: £3 for this one, or £60 for all 2025 talks. Link in bio.

Christianity that is full of welcome, healing and celebration. Found in the fields and on the dancefloor and in the mosh pit.

Our 2025 festival photos are now live — more than 6,000 images (with a few still being added) – dig in here: buff.ly/XsFDRK4
Three children play with drums on a grass field in front of a grand house. They raise the drumsticks up to imitate bunny ears Acrobatic performers wearing colourful outfits jump and make striking shapes from stage while a crowd watches them A woman wearing glasses raises her hand in the air and closes her eyes

A story about the hijacking of religion by white nationalists, who use its shared cultural heritage to ‘other’ people who don’t look like them.

The pictures here though – our pictures – tell a different story. A truer one, we would say. Of a faith that is joy-filled, inclusive and justice-seeking.
A woman in a vibrant rover stands in front of a sign with red raised fists on. A festival stage with red lights illuminated a performer. A pair of red hands are raised above the stage. A man carries a child in a cap on his shoulders during a busy festival atmosphere

Every picture tells a story. For example, you might have seen pictures from last weekend’s march in London. They tell a story about – amongst other things – the far-right’s recent co-opting of a version of Christianity.
An elderly lady - who is leading communion at a festival - lift the communion cup into the air Two people hold hands. Their arms and hands are covered in tattoos. A lighthouse with a geometric pattern and shining light, amongst a festival crowd.

At the end of a difficult weekend, Greenbelt trustee @chinemcdonald.bsky.social is “disappointed”. Join her in her disappointment, but also in her determination to stand for compassion, welcome and our common humanity. www.instagram.com/reel/DOlsgLx...

Here’s to you. To us. To being “gorgeous” together.
Two festival-goers enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, holding cups in hand, adorned in colourful attire, surrounded by warm, festive lights.
