What I take from that is that the AFOPA statement is correct and they have the correspondence from the NPC to prove it; that the NPC’s statement about what happened is false; and their statement that no outside pressure was brought to bear on them is not credible
The NPC needs to respond to the AFOPA statement. As well, it needs to state clearly whether it stands by its statement that it was not subject to any pressure from anyone outside the Board to cancel Mr Hedges’ appearance.
If the NPC’s statement is inaccurate, there should be resignations.
So the National Press Club - an association of journalists - doesn't wanna talk about all the journalists being deliberately targeted and murdered during a genocide because . . . it might upset the people that are targeting and murdering the journalists who were reporting on a genocide?
