Granvir 2.2.0 is live with 4 new T1 part variants and a pair of multiplayer desync fixes. I've also made some tweaks to Campaign 3, increasing manpower gains on Normal and making the Part Modifier project available without prerequisites. Patch notes below ⬇
While I wait patiently for reports of desyncs I'm adding some new mech parts to the tiers with the least parts. Tier 1 actually has the least number of parts and there are plenty of part series in need of a T1 version.
Chain swords are probably the weapons I see players struggle to use the most in Granvir. I've taken some time to improve their usability. The chainsawing can now begin at any point in the swing. Its also much easier for me to make chain weapons now so here's a chain greatsword!
Granvir 2.1.0 is live with the addition of a pre-mission testing ground, multiplayer join in progress and tooltip comparison filtering. Full patch notes below ⬇
Tooltip comparisons will soon be filtered by part type. No longer will your mech's apples (cannons) be compared to oranges (legs) unless you apples have an array of oranges mounted to them of course.
The testing grounds is one of the most requested QoL features for Granvir and its coming soon. You'll be able to test your build and weapons before deploying without buying ammo or having pesky enemies attacking you.
After 3 years of development Granvir is finally released! HUGE shout out to everyone who's played the demo, playtest and prologue along the way. The game would be far less fun and much more buggy without your help. Here's to many more years of making Granvir even more powerful!

Combining a grapple arm and high-jump legs leads to some fun results in @granvir.bsky.social!
Taking on the Extreme difficulty Campaign 3 boss as the Campaign 1 boss was actually a pretty fun fight. The only tweak to the mech I made was a wrist laser so I could have an attack that doesn't build heat.

Art by Hincaru (@hincaru.bsky.social) shows Sroka with her head stuck inside of a treasure chest mimic with very pointy teeth. Pica watches silently from atop the chest. The background is a blue plaid pattern similar to Sroka's scarf.
I thirsted for more rocket lance action so I did a quick run on the campaign 3 final mission. A mech build this tanky has no right to move like this and that's the best part.
Curious what's coming in Granvir after release? Here's a breakdown of the major goals. New campaigns, new mech parts and new enemies to step on! Working on the game is one of my favorite things to do and I have no plans to stop any time soon.
I heard rumors that @srokavtube.bsky.social wanted to do unspeakable things to their mech. Wish granted sicko.

Granvir is releasing September 23rd but what's inside? 3 campaigns to play, 300+ mech parts to build with, 10 player co-op multiplayer and a sandbox mode to test your builds. Stay tuned for more info about what's coming after!
I have added the most powerful weapon of Psyco Gundam: the groin beam. I promised 6 beams though and have innovated on this beloved design by adding the dreaded backdoor beam.
I feel like the 14 beams on this Granvir build don't pay enough respect to Psyco Gundam. 1 like and I add 6 more beams.
I finally hit Psycho Gundam in Zeta today. I wasted no time dispatching our most deranged engineer (me) to upgrade the beam cannon to support split beams. Beam fingers coming soon.
I may have got a little carried away making a Gundam Heavyarms build...
Guys I promise, watching Gundam Wing has had absolutely no influence on the weapons I'm adding to the game.
Even with the stompiest of mech legs, mobility finds a way. The Fighting Frog torso can chain up to 3 rocket jumps to rapidly correct your position.
Granvir Zero Front 1.5.3 is live and its a big one. Full patch notes below but here are some highlights:
>Grappling hook armatures
>Harpoon cannons
>Wrist mounted weapons useable while two-handing
>All legs can now sprint
>Empty hands provide a speed boost.
