As many of you will know, I escaped a long term abusive relationship a few years ago. I then looked after, fed and housed her hostile, surly, uncooperative adult so he could finish college. I did not do it for thanks...

What is your favourite Christmas song? Jethro Tull have some great offerings but I think "Jack Frost and the Hooded Crow" is mine. I'm trying to make a playlist that doesn't irritate me :3

I don't think I like the X-Files generally speaking, but my love of Scully (a medical doctor) has gotten me to season 6 somehow. I will say the episodes written by or with greater involvement by Darin Morgan are phenomenal television. I only noticed because I made a list of my favourites 😅

Day 2 two of waiting for the RAC. My car's coolant leak (unrelated to breakdown) got worse overnight and made a nice red puddle. The RAC info tracker has stopped working and claims I will be saved in the past. My sister and her boyfriend are coming to stay with me and I'm not home 🥶🚗👍

Roadside Picnic was fantastic. There is a lot open to interpretation, it would be ideal for a book club.

The most cringe, awkward and overwhelmed teenager bothered Brent Hinds for a photo while he was trying to enjoy Slayers set and he was nothing but kind, receptive and friendly. I've seen feeds flooded with the same story as mine. He made time for everyone.
