To the legitimate LEO’s (not ICE): I came of age at the end of the Viet Nam war. In those days, relations between the police and the population were rock bottom. “Pigs” was a lot more common that “cops” in the vernacular. The war and protests ended, but the enmity remained.

If I’m reading this right, the bill has to go back to the House before Trump can sign it and end the shutdown. Which means the House has to be convened. Which means (l think) the new member must be sworn in. Which means the discharge petition gets signed! 1/2

Trump’s single top priority is keeping the Epstein files under wraps through the mid-terms. He doesn’t give a shit who loses healthcare or if children go hungry, as long as he keeps the files hidden. Screw the troops, screw the ATC’s, screw everyone! He only takes care of #1.
