What I’ve learned from making this Diamond blanket
- mosaic crochet with chunky yarn makes for great /rugs/
- loops and threats chunky yarn is SUPER SOFT compared to Bernat yarn but it’s also SLIPPERY which has pros and cons
- gradients with different dye lots actually fuckin SLAPS

What I’ve learned from making this Diamond blanket
- mosaic crochet with chunky yarn makes for great /rugs/
- loops and threats chunky yarn is SUPER SOFT compared to Bernat yarn but it’s also SLIPPERY which has pros and cons

So I feel like I jynxed this immediately. That same day I posted this, I found out I wouldn’t have contact with my art buddy for a while. The depression over it has hit hard while I’m trying to cope and I’m just zeroing in on making my blanket to keep myself busy for now
Stumbling a little and rolling with the punches but I think I finally got a good foothold again to keep runnin forward!
All that to say I’ve been handling and processing personal stuff but I have some exciting new things on the horizon for art!!

So I feel like I jynxed this immediately. That same day I posted this, I found out I wouldn’t have contact with my art buddy for a while. The depression over it has hit hard while I’m trying to cope and I’m just zeroing in on making my blanket to keep myself busy for now
I feel like part of my struggle with doing art is I need to body double. I finally have someone I can body double with in person regularly and it’s motivating me a lot! I wanna kick myself off my own butt to actually do streams too! I can’t promise consistency or a regular schedule but I gotta start

I know this is literally the worst time to try to get back into it but the two conventions I’ve been to this year made me really miss doing artist alley and sparked inspiration to get back into selling merch.

My stickers seem to sell really well online and they’re super cheap and easy to ship to people SOOO I’m gonna put in an effort for new sticker designs and sticker sheets!
They’ll just be simple glossy print at home stickers like my old ones but maybe if they do well enough I can upgrade to vinyl :>
