Hello Bluesky, and new followers! I've had the idea to make a pinned thread of all my projects for easy reference. First, I'm a judge who you might have seen at CubeCon (all 3 years), California Cube Champs (both years), Boston Cube Party, or Steel City Cube. Second, I've designed a lot of cubes! 🧵
Many OldSchool and Vintage players describe Sol Ring as the tenth piece of power.

My answer and the consensus.

Here is a plot of all of the Premier expansions, by release date, and how many days had passed since the previous Premier expansion.

You're going to want to click on this one...
Thank you Zach! Looking forward to trying it out
Chuck's Trading Post is the best breakfast I found in Baltimore, and I've tried a lot
I was just looking at the banlist and realizing Arena is a pretty different meta 😅
@bugsmaytrix.bsky.social Okay I am hooked on Black Mage's Rod in Pauper*

@nyc-mtg.com I'm gonna build this deck in paper in case Pauper events ever happen around me, but I'll def bring it with my to NYC next time.
Lorwyn-Shadowmoor approaches and will likely have a lot of hybrid
Should I have heard of Platner before today?
You've done it again.

THE DIFFERENCE IS
$50,000
cracked me UP
Congrats Shariq, loved watching the finals match!!
Yep came here to post this - it exists and I rely on it!
Oh I thought you were a Head Judge again!
Yeah this is crazy, jobs use engineer and administrator REALLY loosely and sometimes interchangeably. Just depends on the company, hilarious to pretend there are hard rules.
Okay but what's Ribbons of Night doing here
I also plan on adding an Elegant Parlor in place of a Plateau, and The Stone Brain specifically to try and stop Oath.

The biggest surprise to me playing the event was just how little I care about Ouphe/Null Rod because they are symmetrical, and I can just Portable Hole them when it's time to combo.
After the event, some changes I've chosen to make:
+1 Basic for Initiative and Assassin's Trophy

-1 Lurrus, who was underwhelming, both because opponents could see it coming and because producing WW was awkward at times. This change unlocks Karn, Tezzeret, Emry, Ensnaring Bridge, and Cursed Mirror!
Forgot to post this before, so: I'm part of a local Proxy Vintage League, and a few weeks ago, I did the best I ever have on a Welder deck with some spicy edits. (3rd out of 28. The top 2 were BOTH Oath and Tell, the menace of our meta)

I won a Josh Hass print with a super cool backstory!
Ah, but Hornet Sting deals 1 damage, and it needs to kill players to be more interesting than Aerial Volley, so an odd life total was necessary :)
HULLBREACHER + ECHO + CEPHALID BROKER???

This is sicker than my Minsc and Boo MB2 draft
Went undefeated in a paper draft of Wilds of Eldraine! p1p1 Decadent Dragon, p1p2 Gruff Triplets (neighbor took a valuable WOT card over it)

I took a p2p1 Agatha of the Vile Cauldron optimistically, but didn't feel like it was better than any of these 24. Would you have run it? If so, over what?
