Hello! I'm Alex. I make GameBoy games. I'm currently working on Lunar Mystery 2103, a sci-fi adventure game with twists and turns around every corner of C01 - Earth's first and only lunar colony...

I got the test box for Lunar Mystery 2103 back today and I think it looks great. There are a few things I'm going to tweak now I've seen it physically, but overall very pleased!
Dev update: I have now begun putting the Kickstarter details together! I'm looking to improve on my previous two campaigns so I'm doing some extra research before putting a "Coming Soon" page up, but it's beginning!
DEV UPDATE:
So Chapter IV is fairly buggy compared to the previous parts in the game, but I am working my way to getting through it bug-free.

I'm also doing a game-wide boss review; some were too easy, and some too hard.

Otherwise, it's going well!
Always check your landing gear before heading to the moon!
Progress Report:

The Prologue to Chapter III are now largely bug free. Chapters IV to the Epilogue are complete, but need the same level of testing as I've given to the first half of the game.

I reckon a November Kickstarter is possible!
Captain Jaxon keeping warm on those cold winter nights (that's every night when the temperature controls have failed)!
So I'm month two into solid bug fixing now as the game's content is finished.

Playing the same sections again and again is really making me appreciate how far the game has come since I started out making it, and how much more advanced it is compared to the The Train and Part 2!
Join me today and tomorrow at #NottsVGE! Hope to see you here!
I've also got some exciting news regarding a Steam release! (No promises at present, but initial tests are looking positive).
Good news! I've finished the entire game's core content as a rough copy!

This now means the game is playable end-to-end, but is buggy and is missing the optional content I want to add in, so it's onto those next!
So we've past the 1 year mark of development of Lunar Mystery 2103!

I've nearly finished the main game's content too! Then it'll be onto bug fixing, extra content (more rooms, secrets, etc.).

It's looking like it could be an early 2026 release!
What on earth could this tunnel be leading to? Why is it so broken? What has Captain Jaxon uncovered!?
Chapter V is the final chapter! I'm finally developing the end of the game!

There is of course bugs to fix, and stuff I want to improve, but this means that within a couple of months the game will be fully roughed out!
Two ships!? What has Captain Jaxon uncovered?
With all this sunshine, it's worth a play of Lunar Mystery 2103!

Hope you're having a great weekend!
After 3 days I think I've resolved a pretty major bug! It requires a full retest of the game so far, big that's fine by me!
Lunar Mystery 2013 Soundtrack Preview - The Ship.

Captain Jaxon's ship, the Starfire is a custom Type B Warden-Class Corvette, rarely seen in the space surrounding Earth. The customised OWL module allows near-complete AI piloting, unless requested otherwise.
Progress update: I'm well into development of Chapter IV of Lunar Mystery 2103 now, and with only 5 chapters and an epilogue planned, the end is in sight!

Pic related.
What is this creature that lurks in the darkness?
I've now developed the rough core of Chapter III, I just need to do lots of testing now, and add the additional bits to flesh this chapter out, then I can move on to Chapter IV!
