i honestly just appreciate that he's tried so hard for the past two years to put himself in his programs and express things he cares about... it makes his skating better even when it's not to my taste (like i didn't like his SP music last year but his SP ruled because HE liked it)

But I'd think I'd have LOVED it if he'd paired it with a more accessible (&less sinewy) short program so we could see some variety in his skating. As it is it feels like his short program is eclipsed by his costume and his much better free and it's not doing him any favours. #GPFRA #GPFigure

I think now I've seen both Adams programs at the same event I can put my finger on the issue I have with him this season - he's just taking himself all together too seriously. I like his Creation of Adam free and I'm down for him to be all high concept and art school about it #GPFRA #GPFigure
