Alot of the time my diabetic CKD patients end up getting poor glycemic control as a result if the low protein diet, I find i usually go head to head with endocrinology regarding this specific topic. Can anyone relate ? Just flozinate i guess 🙃 #NephJC

I wonder if dialysis vintage should have been accounted for, more frequent dialysis using PD may have higher CV benefits more UF, less likely to have HF exacerbation ?

im definitely more alert when the patient’s cystatin C based eGFR is much lower, and ask for more frequent follow up
