Today I had a missed call, when I listened to the voicemail, they said it was a hospital, so I assumed it was them calling for the liver ultrasound my GP referred me for. It was, in fact, not for that. See, at the appointment last month, I expressed my desire to start medically transitioning.

I got my A1c down to 6% in three months! It was around 12%.

It's kind of exciting when every time the nurse is here to do a bandage change both her *and* my wife are oohing and ahhing over how much more healing there is than the last time (sometimes only 48hrs in between!) Fingers crossed I'll be tubeless soon!

Tomorrow is one month since I had my first surgery to debride the necrotic tissue from my thigh. I'm feeling pretty good, all things considered, and my healing is going really well! I'm still not at 100% yet, and it's going to be quite a while before I am, but I'm extremely happy with my progress.

Hey, I'm not dead! I was like, half dead. Sort of. In hospital for 23 days! I'm home now and doing better but still on the mend.

I am full of soop. Made homemade broccoli cheddar soup today, with some sourdough bread for dunking. Oh goodness was it so good.

Telly is doing amazingly after her procedure today. I don't think she's stopped purring since she got home. And they are most certainly happy purrs. She's bright and engaged, she's asking for love and attention. She even loafed in my arms and snuggled into my chest. I couldn't be happier.

We've dropped Miss Telly off at the vet. In about seven hours we can pick her up. Commence the anxious pacing around the house.

Well, we took Patella to the vet today. She needs a full dental cleaning, possible (and likely) extractions, and removal of a mass the vet is *extremely sure* is just inflammation, but will send to pathology to be certain.

Had to take Teddy to the vet today. He barely ate dinner last night, and then refused all food and water this morning. He also hadn't used the litter box for over 12 hours. All tests came back fine, the vet was very impressed with him. Gave him an appetite stimulant and we went home.

I received my PR card in the mail today. Which is very exciting, considering it wasn't supposed to arrive for another month or so. The best part was this little flyer they included. To me it reads as "Thanks for shopping with us today, hope to see you back soon!"
