The notion that higher price means a "better" or more worthwhile game.
I've played indie games that were priced waay too low for the effort that went into them, and they tend to be the most engaging and fulfilling experiences compared to Triple A gaming hiking prices up to 70-80 bucks.

Woke up to find an old employer of mine dropped an update with a ton of AI assets in one of their games, got shit for it, reverted it, doubled down on discord, found out people in my discord were talking about the situation, and now apparently it's my fault???

Any Unreal devs out there ever successfully make a plugin with C++ that derives from the built-in Character Class? I want to make a plugin for myself that has an extended Character Class that just overrides their eyes to follow their Head bone, but keep getting Link errors when trying to compile it.

Got it working after an agonizing 2-3 hours. Not looking forward to going through that again for every single project.

If you're a Mega Man Legends fan and you haven't had eyes on Rogue Robot Ravager yet, you're missing out. Glitched is an awesome dev working on what I can only imagine will be an amazing game. Started getting the early groundwork in for Rogue Robot Ravager's currency today, just need to get assets made and make the shop actually work now. Also been noting ideas for different chips and their effects, as well as the best way to apply them to the character/their shots efficiently.

One thing that makes indie games so special is that the developers get to focus really hard into a niche. Either visually or mechanically.
Take your favourite game / genre and go all in on honing and expanding the idea. The crunchy and intricate stuff that a larger studio can’t waste time on.
