Really don’t get these Donnarumma links. Not a particularly confident goalkeeper with his feet, so the build up will have to look different. Plus Trafford has just come in with the prospect of being No.1 after a year. Looks a lot different now.

Rumours are we could be looking at bowel perforation. Therefore possible he would need a stoma. Especially given it’s a “2 part surgery”. Fingers crossed for him

Surely this is a wake up call for a rule change RE late offside calls. How many players have to get injured with last ditch tackles in phases of play which are blatantly offside. Now Awoniyi with an extremely serious sounding injury which, at best, could be a long spell out (at worst a career ender)

Obviously unproven at this level and not in the champions league squad, but Reis could have the qualities to play there? Maybe too early for him though.

You need you’re big players to step up in difficult periods. Earlier in the season I don’t think that was the case but today was different. Haaland, Foden, Ederson, Gundo all has big games

If we get our 2 CB target, we’ll have by my count, 8 first team CBs (including JSP & Gvardiol). Who do we see leaving going forward? Could we see any of them having a role in the midfield (e.g. Akanji) in the short term?
