Time to be brave. Nature is our lifeline🐝. We must protect it.

We will all win if we all speak out, not with anger or with fear, but with conviction.

We are fighting for the good in all of us. We are fighting the heart of our nation 🇺🇸 🗽⚖️.

My law firm is currently litigating 11 redistricting cases in 10 states. We are also litigating an additional 54 voting and election cases in 27 states.

This is as many cases as we typically handle going into the final months of the election. 2026 will almost certain be a record breaking year.

Good morning BlueSky 🌞

US🇺🇸need political leaders that address the pressing needs of our nation. But we can only get our needs met if we fight for our prosperity, not our political affiliation.

One pressing need is childcare. Just in TX, over half of the counties are childcare deserts👇.

We disagree because we are not making an effort to understand each other’s struggles.

Rural USA 🇺🇸 has faced health provider shortages that have not been addressed by either party for decades. Let’s seek to understand, not blame.

We are all loosing while divided. Health insurance rates rise beyond affordability despite mounting individual medical debt, specially here in TX.

There are several important cases before the Supreme Court about redistricting. The Texas case -- which is awaiting a decision -- will tell us whether Donald Trump's gambit to have Texas illegally gerrymander will succeed or fail. I am proud that my law firm is in this fight!

We fight to protect the American dream. In USA 🇺🇸 a person’s grit and perseverance can pry open doors to a better life. When you refuse to surrender, no one can stop you.

In an autocracy or dictatorships, doors are not opened by people but by the will of those in power.

UCS’s Dr. Laura Grego joins The Burn Bag Podcast to unpack the science—and the myths—behind missile defense. From the early “Star Wars” era to today’s costly “Golden Dome,” she breaks down why interception is nearly impossible, the politics driving these programs & the illusion of safety they sell.
The Nuclear Threshold: Will Missile Defense Systems Really Save Us? featuring Dr. Laura Grego
The Nuclear Threshold is a three-part Burn Bag mini-series exploring how deterrence, defense, and diplomacy shape nuclear risk in the 21st century. Across three conversations with leading experts, we examine why technological optimism often outpaces reality, how fragile human systems sustain deterrence, and whether diplomacy can still prevent catastrophe in an increasingly unstable world. In this first episode, astrophysicist Dr. Laura Grego, Research Director at the Union of Concerned Scientists, joins A’ndre Gonawela to break down the science — and the myths — behind missile defense. Grego explains why the United States’ decades-long effort to build a reliable shield against nuclear attack has repeatedly failed, and how those failures risk deepening global instability. From the early “Star Wars” program to today’s multi-billion-dollar “Golden Dome” initiative, she unpacks the physics that make missile interception nearly impossible, the political incentives that keep these programs alive, and the illusion of safety that drives...
