Tracing pictures, real art or AI slop for learning is fine (I wouldnt trust an AI ref tho). For work its not fine. it's lazy and unprofessional behaviour.

Using them as ref, either to copy the pose or get some ideas from them, its fine and part of the job.

Whenever you want to commission someone, be sure to read the ToS to avoid misunderstandings. If you dont agree with someones ToS, you can ask the artist or hire someone else. Rules are important for a fair agreement on both sides.

Second protagonist along with Giru. This character is Miry, the same Miry I drew in the past. Her first name was Miryam but its hebrew origin and they are supposed to be part of a more fantasy worldbuilding, so I changed it to this one.

Im proud of most work i did this year. But I think this is my favourite. Its not a Full render and doesnt have a complex background. But the pose was very difficult to solve and I think I managed very well.
