Before the summer we held a county wide badge design competition where girls can design the badge for our upcoming county trip to Alton Towers. 🎢

Congratulations to Emily L for designing the winning entry which has now been incorporated into our brand new badge for 2025. Well done Emily! 🎉

Volunteers who were awarded the Scottish Chief Commissioner's award, who achieved their Queens Guide award, and those who were nominated as a supporter, changemaker or role member attended a special afternoon tea with the Scottish Chief Commissioner Team and Deputy Chief Guide Sally Kettle.

From county to unit level, we couldn’t continue to give girls amazing experiences without our volunteers, who deliver the equivalent of £1,125,000 worth of youth work to improve the lives of girls in North & East Ayrshire.

Jenny had spent over a year in Germany to reunite men, women and children with their families.

Today, the Jenny Ramsay trust has helped girls in Ayrshire North fund their international adventures over the years!

We also remember the extraordinary work of the Guides International Service (GIS), an inspiring group of Girlguiding members (including our very own Jenny Ramsay) who travelled around Europe to provide much-needed support to people in the aftermath of the conflict.

On Sunday, units from North West Cunninghame division took to the dance floor and celebrated World Thinking Day with a special division badge launch party! 🥳

Here they also gave thanks to their division commissioner as she passes on the baton to her successor. #WTD2025

There was even a special afternoon show where members came together to sing and dance at a Taylor Swift concert! 🤩

🎤 Girlguiding keeps cruising, can't stop, won't stop grooving! ✨

On Saturday 22 February, we celebrated World Thinking Day at a special county fun day where over 390 members took part. Members learning about space in a special STEM workshop and competed in rugby and basketball. #WTD2025
