My TikTok algorithm is usually psychic except for one thing: It thinks I’ve listened to something called The Magnus Archives, and it’s so confident that it’s trying to sell me merch. Do I need to develop a new obsession with whatever this Magnus deal is?

Seeing the videos of Charlotte residents standing up to ICE reminds me that although I had serious reasons to leave North Carolina, there were also serious reasons that I stayed there for three years. I will always love the people whose first instinct is always to stand up for one another.

Reviews of Wicked: For Good only have complaints that also apply to the musical. Have the reviewers seen it? Do they know that Jon Chu was adapting something, and that he didn’t just decide to make the second act a little weird? Wait til they find out about the book

Earlier this month, NYC's Independent Budget Office (IBO), released a report on the Rockaway Beach Branch. Among it's findings, the top destinations for commuters along the abandoned line would be served by QueensLink. In the meantime, head to the 🔗 in bio to tell leaders to #BuildtheQueensLink !!

The Visa and Mastercard settlement allowing businesses to reject certain cards is a huge win for customers and merchants. The only losers are credit card processors, and they’ve been long overdue for a loss. Their high swipe fees are an all-American parasite that raises costs on everything by 2-3%.

My family’s dog, Pico, had a face he’d make whenever he realized that we were talking about him. Today, our first day without Pico since half my lifetime ago, he’s all we can talk about. So, I imagine Pico looking at us like this.
