People have weird notions about introduced species. Hedgehogs are decimating our native insects, skinks and ground nesting bird's eggs but people still try and nurse them back to health because they're cute. There's a women in West Auckland who rescues the fuckers...

Who knows. There was a guy who went around New Zealand and introduced invavsive fish species into every significant body of fresh water. Notable that he himself was an introduced species.

Any chance they're Australians? It's a protected species over there.
Not as invasive but still destructive, *apparently* there's a couple of women on Waiheke who are actively releasing rabbits there. I don't understand what the mindset is to intentionally release pests.

You have to signal Garnet to Garnet or you could run someone over. It’s a terrible intersection.
I wouldn’t indicate going into Westend but it kind of feels like you should—muscle memory and all.
Old Mill to Garnet is similar but substantially less pedestrian traffic.

I go through there on a regular basis. I have to indicate left to go straight ahead, which often confuses people at the next intersection —about 5 meters on. No one indicates to to into Westend Rd.
