All right, it looks like October is shaping up to be a delightfully busy month for me! I won't have the time to consider taking any new clients for a few weeks, so I'm going to shut my QM form for a little while, starting THIS SUNDAY, October 12th.
If you’re still looking for representation in a few weeks when I reopen, I’ll be happy to take a look then. :)
Unfortunately, if I came across something wonderful right now in my queries, I wouldn’t be able to make time to give it my full attention. That wouldn’t be fair to either of us!

Thank you so much for the warm welcome, GiannaMarie! I'm so excited to have found an agent who is just as passionate about increasing disability representation in literature as I am.
So delighted to share today that I've added another wonderful author to my client list! 🤩🥳

Please welcome @ejephess.bsky.social to our growing Neighborhood!
An announcement graphic for E.J. Ephess. A large white woman sits in a white manual wheelchair with rainbow colored spokes. She has shoulder length brown hair and is wearing a navy blue sweatshirt and dusty rose pink pants. Half up on her lap is a yellow labrador retriever in a yellow service dog vest with a blue bandana, who gazes dutifully out into the distance. The woman grins at the camera as she cradles the dog's upper body. The background of the image is lilac purple.

All right, my inbox is officially closed! Catch y'all in a few weeks. 😊
If I’m open to queries at the time, feel free to submit!
If you've been on the fence about querying me or I requested your material from #DVPit and you haven't sent your package over, now's your time!

I hope to reopen in early November. When I do, I'll announce it here. :)

This was 100% a mistake on my part then! So sorry for the confusion 💀
Somehow unsurprised to see you meming Saw in this venue
As long as I’m open to queries you can send material anytime! It’s definitely in your interest to have your manuscript and query package ready to send when participating in pitch events though!
Hi, thanks so much for your consideration! Both of these are great. The problem for me is when all the paragraphs get smushed together into one huge block of text :)
Okay, I'm officially done looking at pitches. It's been a long day! Can't wait to read all these queries. 😊
I am so sorry, I can’t keep all of the pitches and queries straight! If you’ve revised your query since then, feel free to try me again!
Really hoping this one gets signed!!
Really rooting for this to get signed!!
I don’t rep GNs, but I’m really rooting for Rachel to get signed! I loved her recent essay in the Disability Debrief newsletter and would love to see more people have access to her art!
18-yr-old Rachel wants to enjoy college like her peers–seemingly housing & food secure, with family. Instead, an ex-homeless runaway youth, Rachel is thrust into adulthood on her own. To survive, she must rebuild community & confront a dark secret at the root of her new independence. #DVpit #GN #DIS
Two graphic novel pages, representing rachel scribbling in a notebook a cartoon about food insecurity rachel at university health services, the doctor inquiring why she doesn't have health insurance
All right, I think that’s all the info! If you have any questions, I’ll be popping in and out throughout the day and will be happy to answer in the replies! Good luck!
If you’ve revised your book OR your query since I passed on your query, I’m happy to take another look. If not, I’m still probably not a good fit, and you can interpret any requests from me as a mistake 😅
If I request your query and you realize I’ve already passed on it… I’m sorry for the confusion! I don’t remember every query I read and a lot of times it’s hard to recognize your book from the pitch.
If you end up researching me and notice your project has a lot in common with themes I say on my MSWL I’m probably not the best fit for, if I have requested your pitch, please send it! I’ll give almost any idea a chance if it’s written through a disability lens.
If I request your query, please send it to me through QueryManager! My areas of specialization are MG/YA and adult SFF, but I find myself slightly more open to other genres during pitch events. If I request a query from you that is in a genre my QM doesn’t list, please select the closest one.
Hello again! I suspect, based on my schedule for the day + the hashtag bug I will not be as active in requesting queries for #DVPit as I usually am for pitch events, but here’s all my info anyway!
