Tasha Snow, Jagdish Prajapati & Zhuomin Li joined us in Copenhagen, supported by the Copernicus Programme via EUMETSAT 🛰️

In-person participation by early-career researchers helps grow the GHRSST community and advance SST science 🌊

🌍 Day 2 of #GHRSST26 took us deeper into the science with three packed sessions:
❄️ Polar region SST monitoring
🌊 Climate data records & trends for sea + sea-ice temps
💨 SST in atmospheric/ocean modelling + reanalysis

Nice overview by Jacob from the Danish Meteorological Institute at the @ghrsst.bsky.social symposium about the challenges of retrieving data on ice surface temperature in the arctic.

Lots of progress, but still lots of work to be done...
