I was one of the first few people who was in a work experience scheme (1976) I left school in the summer but found it hard to get a job, had to physically sign on every week & had to present myself at a careers office, on one such occasion I was offered a chance to go onto the scheme

My 'ghost cat' has decided not to bother getting up this morning (photo taken at 10.30 a.m.) it's an hour later & she's still there (she normally gets up for breakfast & settles in the lounge #cats

My 'ghost cat' has a unique way of getting my attention so I can let her out at night - she stretches up and taps the blinds to wake me, the little pinholes are where she accidentally caught her claws #cats

My 'ghost cat' is still a bit unsure of the new duvet cover, however she crept onto the bed last night (after waking me up to let her out & then back inside) she obviously settled as I awoke later to her softly snoring #cats

I have a crap week so far, joined a health walk group around a local nature spot - unfortunately I tripped, face planted, bloody nose etc & broke my glasses, got a same day GP appt checked out ok. Then I got one of my migraines. Just about feeling human again. #irony

Just watching the BBC Breakfast report about Red Kites & I glance out my window to see several #RedKites flying above the roof tops of the neighbouring houses. Not bad for an urban area! Photos from the BBC website (even though they are plentiful around my area I've yet to get a decent photo)
