I am removing all of my social media apps from my phone with the exception of IG. I use IG to post picks of the daily riverfront construction & my roller skating adventures. I don’t use IG for anything more than to see other roller skaters. IG is really the ONLY social media app I find “healthy”.

Lay offs and early retirement packages are happening in the US. You won’t hear about it from journalists. You will definitely hear about it from friends and family.
It will only get worse in 2026. The damage that is done will take YEARS, if even possible, to undo.

I remember Art Bell having guests on his Coast 2 Coast AM show on multiple occasions before his death (2018) discussing the impacts as well as (at that time) signs in the change of weather patterns already noted because the currents were already changing.

MCR show in Toronto was 🔥.
I don’t listen to MCR. My 17 yo wanted to see them w/her Canadian friend. Then I bought 2 more tickets (sister and I) because why not.
Good show. I danced to every song, despite only recognizing 3 songs.
I appreciate having access to my phone to check in on the kids.

Skate Rave inside a former TJ Maxx? Yes, please!!!
I don’t use my glow sticks often at the rink because it’s never busy enough to justify it. Tonight? I brought the big one’s I’ve saved for that special occasion.

While at the Dekalb Oasis to change clothes for the Skate Rave, a woman saw my Ghost shirt and stopped me to ask if I attended the Rosemont ritual. She wasn’t able to attend. I gave her my favorite Rats I made days before the ritual. She was so happy!
I need to make more. So many loved these 🐭s. 🫶🏼

Wearing some of the bracelets from trades at the Rosemont ritual. Been feeling blah this week where I just don’t want to do shit. After two days of heavy socializing and the intensity of emotions from the rituals? I don’t think I recovered. I feel better today, hence the need to wear bracelets. 🖤
