I really miss "Megas XLR" from the early 2000s Cartoon Network days

The show was so silly, dumb, unhinged, and over-the-top awesome, featuring so much nerd-culture appreciation & references/parodies from gaming & animé,
which was really rare to see in media at that time

If you haven't heard of Williams Publishing, they were focused in Europe, mostly in the 1970s. They did reprints, but also some 'saucy' magazines and the inital run of House of Hammer.

Daily Hanna Barbera

Yogi and his Toy ran for 36 weekly issues in 1972, by Williams Publishing of London. For some reason Top Cat is 'Boss Cat'.

The comic came with a toy - for instance, a set of small playing cards, or stencils and crayons.

such a weird moment in culture to look back on, felt like a veritable golden age for the medium and now look at where we're at

i get knots in my stomach thinking about cartoon network studios and this era of TV animation. none of these people here knew that their work would be some of the last work done in this environment

Made a drawing to showcase some of the characters from shows I’ve had the pleasure of working on in the last 10+ years.

Most of these guys are from Cartoon Network shows, which has been an absolute honor and treat to be a part of for so long ❤️

No but looking back at this, the comparasion is so sad. Imagine showing this to a Cartoon Network fan in the mid-2010s

Imagine having a Disney Channel show have a more stacked panel room than a Adventure Time panel.

D.C. Comics Fact:

From 2000 to 2003, Cartoon Network aired a promo that featured a crossover between 'The Super Friends' and 'The Powerpuff Girls'.
When the Super Friends find themselves captured by the Legion of Doom (in this case, just Aquaman & Wonder Woman), the Girls come to the rescue,
