Talking to my bf about children, I commented on how I find it funny that children's shows portray life as being very happy, easy and exciting, when in reality everyone defines life as tough and unfair.

The way I view the arts is pretty simple...
I don't have competition, I have comrades. Art is far more enjoyable when you treat it less like an arena through a lens of comparison and more like a journey with people to learn from along the way.
