I ve played too little of 9 to judge (seems cool tho) but I totally feel you, each game is very cool in its own right. I rly enjoyed the chapter structure of dq4, dq5 story is amazing and I ve grown really attatched to characters in 8 and 11. I ve yet to play 1, 2 and 6 but Im sure I ll love em too
