Privatizing the VA is NOT an answer to healthcare needs- we all who use the private system know its problems. Let us not support another way big money can be ripped out of the healthcare system.

We need to keep repeating the fake trickle down economy is subsidizing the ultrawealthy - TAX them fairly; make sure everyone gets paid a living wage and then the US will have enough to truly democratize healthcare !
Comer: "This is a fake economy. You can't have 1/3 of America receiving some type of free government healthcare and then have another 1/3 that's getting a subsidized rate. That falls on the final 1/3 that's having to pay increased premiums."

When MAGA talks about the ACA supplementals supporting big health insurance companies, we need to remind them and ourselves, the alternative to private insurance companies is government payment spreading the risk of costly health expenditures amongst all of us. We would be all in on M4A !

Private planes make up nearly 12% of all flights. Instead of grounding 10% of commercial flights at 40 major U.S. airports, why doesn't the DOT ground 100% of private flights instead? Raised [email protected]

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

The Trump regime is now telling states to unsend SNAP benefits.

They want to do everything they can to make life harder for people.

It’s said often, but always worth repeating: the cruelty is the point.
Trump administration says states must "immediately undo any steps" to send full SNAP benefits
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, in a late-night Saturday memo, also threatened to impose financial penalties on states that did not comply with the government's new orders.

Get your flu shot! 💉

💪It may not prevent you from getting the flu but it will lessen the severity of the disease.

Several pharmacies and grocery stores will give you coupons and discounts for shopping - how this poster bought some of my Halloween candy stash last month! 🍭
Flu is coming soon. That epi curve looks a bit ominous. #IDSky

Ask any MAGA .

Two federal judges on Friday ordered the Trump administration to use emergency funds to pay food stamp benefits to tens of millions of Americans in November. The administration has announced it will pay some of those benefits.

Why wasn’t the Trump administration doing that anyway?

Family plan Insurance premiums through employers averages $27,000 a year. How could anyone wonder why families feel they are getting squeezed. The increase is greater than wage growth and overall inflation. This is the product of our for profit system that pretends to be a health care system.
