I have seen this film twice in my life. Once when I was a child with my grandmother and second time about six months ago. When I saw it for second time I was surprised that it was in black and white. I always believed that it was in colour. Clearly my memory was wrong.

I think Saudis have too much money for their own good. This is such a stupid idea at least for Saudi Arabia. Why don’t they use that money instead on rebuilding Gaza and make sure that Israel never attacks it again.

I am pessimistic about this ceasefire as well. Without posting long essay on this subject I will just say that too many people don’t want this to succeed as well. Most importantly does Israel want peace and coexist with Palestinians and other Arab nations?

I suppose for that there has to be a completely independent film without a studio or streamer and with unknown actors because you wouldn’t be able to afford De Caprio as he demands full fee, even for an art/Oscar movie.
Unknown actors on the other hand would add more authenticity to the story.

Yes they were defending immigrants but even leftwingers in today’s society are worried about effects of uncontrolled immigration. In films like these there needs to be some kind of aim to the story. Unfortunately you will not achieve that because it is not in the studio interests.

I don’t think I would go as far as masterpiece. It was a good film but it was missing some kind of political orientation. Why were they revolutionaries? For what kind of society were they fighting for?
