The prevailing sentiment among many on the right is that Trump is an imperfect vessel for achieving a greater good. It might get very ugly if it begins to dawn on them that he's just an asshole.

In about 20 years, many of you will be living in a world populated by people who grew up looking at Trump and his oligarch buddies and thinking that bullying, lying, and being insatiably greedy are the characteristics of successful people. It's going to be ugly and I'm glad I won't be here for it.

The first time I saw ZZ Top was 50 years ago in Hempstead, NY. I saw this evening (my third ZZ Top concert) and they were over the top awesome. Billy Gibbons is a guitar god, as good as ever. Frank Beard is a monster on drums. And Elwood Francis is a fine replacement for the late, great Dusty Hill.
