Any interest in joining the US mail campaign, sending our thoughts to the baby in charge of their country?
I was thinking about printing postcards to send to him, so it's a unified message. I can share the printable pdf's if anyone wants them.
You have lots of producers in your warmer states. Support them. I'm sure they could ramp up blueberry production in the off seasons for the colder states. Or grow in hothouses.
No I don't. I'm just a dumb fruit farmer in Canada. We're not so edumacated up here.
Well, we don't need to solve that problem because we didn't start a tariff war with the rest of the world. Sadly suggesting problem solving like finding producers in warmer states or using hothouses like we do to grow produce out of season is just a stretch too far.
I think you don't understand what I was saying. The solution is to find your local growers and buy from them. Just one quick search of blueberry farms in WI, and I found this. If Canada can boycott US food and still maintain the same diets by buying local, you can too. Just pivot a bit. We did.
That’s only true until one load turns entirely pink or blue from failing to sort. My dad wore pink underwear for ages because mom didn’t sort and washed white undies with red coloured tshirts. Then the new undies & socks were grey blue from washing with new dark wash denim. Lesson learned.
Ontario has a ton of blueberry producers, in case you need a backup plan. I can think of 8 within a 15 minute radius in our community. They freeze what they don’t sell fresh and we use them all winter long.
If you don’t already have one, buy a portable handheld bidet for each bathroom in the house/apartment. Rechargeable or manual. Saves having to search for TP in a shortage.
You can also take it with you, just in case…

Trump insists β€œwe were losing a trillion dollars a year to China.” In reality it’s called β€œbuying things.” We gave them $1 trillion, they gave us $1 trillion worth of goods. Why doesn’t he understand this?

Jack, I think your analysis of situations and body language often confirms with many what they’re seeing and hearing but are unable to put it into words. Or their gut says something but they don’t know if they can trust it. I look forward the professional analysis you offer in situations.
Absolutely! I agree. It's just so nice to finally have a moment to breathe between threats.

#DanielleSmith said that if there’s enough votes in the referendum to separate from #Alberta, she’ll initiate legal action against the #FirstNations to supersede their #treaties. She went further to say that she believes there’s enough legal precedent to challenge the treaties. Like wow!

WTF is this shit? GTFO of Canada and don't come back.
Great thread.
I love our differences. I love when I’m in the city, there are 15 different cuisines available in a 3 block radius. I can try cuisines and discover something new and learn about new cultures too. What’s life if you’re not always learning something new? Boring!
1. Canada is the second-largest country in the world by land area.
2. Canada has the longest coastline in the world, with over 243,000 kilometers of shoreline.
3. Canada has more lakes than any other country, with over 2 million lakes covering about 8% of its land area.
That is a great place to be. I’m so proud to be Canadian. One of the reasons we will never be American. We are similar but fundamentally different. We hold different values and place importance on different things. People are always more important than money IMHO.
According to the 2024 Ipsos World Affairs Report, Canada is the most positively viewed global leader, 79% of people across 30 countries believe we’re a force for good. Stability, respect, kindness. That’s the reputation on the line every time we vote.

Leading ahead of Germany and France.
Nutlick hurts my head. I literally want to throw my gloves down and take a couple of shots to the head and a knee to the groin. I’ll gladly take the penalty, just to get in one good shot.
These days it looks like a stiff breeze could knock over tRump.

Love Jack Brown and his body language analysis. He’s currently working on PMMC’s analysis.

That’s what I assumed his expressions meant. He was playing nice for the first meeting while planning on stabbing him in the back on the way out of the office.
Can’t wait to read your thoughts on the adult in the room.
Damn those killer whales! They’ve been plotting this takeover all along!
He would come out with either orange or brown lips. I’m not sure which.
How sad is that? And they’ve lost 3 planes so far. Notice the so far… the week ain’t over yet!
83 teachers working for a decade at the national average salary (~$72k/year) would *still* not hit the cost of one F/A-18 Super Hornet resting at the bottom of the Red Sea.
I miss DEI
Better not come to my house. All bathrooms are multi-gender and even the baths are multi-species. Sometimes the trees are also multi-species bathrooms. It’s WILD at my house.
You're letting the felon-in-chief into the country??? Are you kidding? Shouldn't the rules apply to everyone, regardless of their bank account or job?
