Wikipedia isn't reliable for *anything.* No fact checking, no basic requirements. Anybody can input any rancid crap without a problem. I once saw an entry for a fabled British actor that stated he was having multiple affairs with alley cats.
Good. And he also has my support. Sometimes people on this site are so into their own heads that they make assumptions about the other person and their beliefs. And you've done that here.

I like Andres, have met him. Does good work. He received funding 2024, before the election.
But funding does matter. Would it be ok if the money came from a billionaire backer of Netanyahu? Or maybe a company that made big $$$ from Uyghur slave labor? Or private prison companies? Or drug cartels?
I care about all those things too but a Nobel doesn't do anything extra for Andres' work.
But when you honor Andres with a Nobel, you honor Jeff Bezos who made trump -- who cut FEMA funding -- possible. Plus I'm sure Bezos doesn't want to piss off his sugar daddy.
