After that, I skipped Platinum, bought HeartGold for the walker gimmick and nostalgia, skipped the Black/White games, beat X/Y and stopped, skipped OmegaRuby, didn't finish Sun/Moon and at that point was done.

I only played Sword/Shield because a friend bought it so I could play with them.

Yep. The last time I was really hyped for a Pokemon game and absolutely loved it was Pokemon Colosseum. It was the first 3D Pokemon CAMPAIGN and the graphics looked amazing in 2003.

Diamond and Pearl came out in 2006 and I stopped playing at Victory Road. Felt no desire to finish.

But maaan I can see an evolved PvP battle system from this where you're actively aiming for the opposing player with your Pokemon's attacks and there's just constant movement and dodging while commanding your Pokemon.

Man I got it bad for Pokemon ZA. Gotta FORCE myself to stop playing so I can go to bed. Cannot believe how much I enjoy this game.

What's funny is that despite this, I still have no desire to play the next mainline entry because I know it won't have this battle system.

And just to clarify, I am not a supporter of using AI for shit. I have been FORCED to use it for work, but I make an attempt to minimize any usage wherever I can (text-to-speech for cases where voiceover cannot be supplied for asinine reasons).

Like, if that WHOLE IMAGE was AI generated, then yeah. Make a stink about it. But it's a fucking image from a stock photo site. They linked to the site and when I checked it, I couldn't even find a marker indicating it was AI-generated (which most stock sites do).

I keep seeing YouTube content shitting on everything I enjoyed lately (Peacemaker S2, Tron Ares, Pokemon Z-A) and I finally realized the YouTube algorithm is AGGRESSIVELY giving me this content because I've been watching videos negatively talking about recent events w/Xbox, EA, Nintendo, and Ubisoft
