This whole taxing EV thing is just bollocks.
"EV's are heavy?!" Yeah, so are all the SUV's that dont need to pay so much.
Or how about fleet vehicles that weigh a shitload more and surprisingly get fleet exemptions.
"There's no fuel duty!"
Umm...what about the electricity that is PAID FOR ALREADY?

Another week, another training course. Not sure how much of this will go in, much less what I'll actually use (it's an exceptionally broad examination course, my industry is a verrrry niche section) but im 2 for 2 so far, once this one is done thats 3 years coverage!

Reaaaaaally hitting my limit on people being upset by factors they feel they can't control..
Im not an overtly violent person and grew up in a specific era...but damn some instances make me wanna throw fkn paws irrespective of the social acceptance of who you can and can't..

Interesting day out! Cashed in a Christmas voucher for the iFly indoor skydiving place I've driven past to work for nearly 3 years..
Then felt like some bowling on the same park (which i also never visited before today!)

Something a little different at work today. Bit of working at height and a dirty 101 in point rigging while helping out our main rigging guy. I'm not normally one for heights but this new clacissor lift is pretty chonkers.

Ah yes, hello weekend, and right on cue, my lower back goes from "hey I'm kinda sore" to "fk your plans, you won't be able to stand up OR sit down properly!"
If this is like last weekend, I will wake up 6:45am Monday morning for work and back will go "what do you mean pain? I'm fine! Up and atem!":/

Going to be a weird sensation and I know the FOMO will strike at the worst time at some point in the future..
But I will not be attending Scotiacon next year. Going to be taking a sabbatical. I hope all those that attend have fun and have a drink extra for me ^.=.^
