I’ve sent a note to ID Care and I’m composing a letter to send to various politicians. I’m hoping some of my connections can get the letter to the right people. I’m lucky. Dis you see There’s a whole cohort of people basically accused of posting child abuse material!! Can AI be sued for slander?

There’s a class action being explored in the US. I submitted my story. My sister had her ads account hacked and they started stealing money. Again the support desk was useless. She ended up having to close her business account and start from scratch. 😡 she got the money back but it was a huge hassle

I guess my question is twofold…
How is your Meta detox going?
And how do we create an Australian digital sovereignty?
In trying to appeal my suspension I was coerced into handing over critical identity data. I now feel exposed with no recourse.
What can we do beyond removing ourselves as you have?

This is so terrifying. And it’s emboldening the antisemites across the world. Here in Australia, in Melbourne, last Shabbat, another synagogue was torched WITH PEOPLE INSIDE. Thankfully no one was hurt and a suspect has now been arrested.

So I’ve now learned the my FB banning is just one of millions. It appears that Meta AI has gone rogue. Meta won’t admit it but they’ve lost control of it and have no idea how to fix it. Welcome to the brave new world of AI content mods folks.

I’ve just read your article (via startupdaily). 3 days ago my FB account of 15years was inexplicably suspended for no good reason. I’ve now come to understand that the AI content moderation seems to have gone rogue. You pose an interesting point but many of us rely heavily on these Meta platforms.

I agree. I’m not actually expecting anything. I’ve already sent a note to ID Care and I am going to send a note through to the PMs office (I have connections) 😎 this is actually a huge privacy and security risk. I’m livid.

Another sign of tech madness. My FB account has been suspended for no good reason. I’ve appealed but hat to input my phone number and facial rec to do so. 48hrs later it’s still locked. There’s NO WAY to contact Meta support. Every help article goes back to FB and the suspension page. 🫤😡🤦‍♀️

So tRump is cranky that Australia won’t import US beef. He claims it’s to protect our farmers. It’s not. It’s to protect humans. It’s a biosecurity measure. Not economic. Australians by and large wouldn’t buy US beef anyway because we simply prefer Aussie grown produce.
