The situation for LGBTI communities across Europe is worrying and worsening. Today in Finland, I'm with Nordic Council ministers for gender equality and LGBTI. I encourage them to stand up for the #HumanRights of #LGBTI people and offer solidarity and support to them and their organisations.

Two-year prison sentence given to Georgian journalist Mzia Amaghlobeli is disproportionate & raises serious issues under the ECHR. I reiterate my call on authorities to release her & urge them to ensure that journalists can work freely without interference and respect of freedom of expression.

To never forget the more than 8,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys who lost their lives.
30 years on, remembrance is resistance.
