Wow...
I used to get my hair cut at the barbershop because it was less expensive and higher quality cuts for a Black woman.
These costs are wild.
I haven't been to a Black barbershop since 2022 when I started my locs. Locally, I could get a cut and tip 100 percent for that. As I did.

I have a theory: many such folks were indoctrinated to "dislike" cats.
I thought I didn't like cats. Over the years, I met 3 - 4 "really chill or friendly" ones.
Last December, I went to the local shelter to choose a dog.
My cat chose me.
Turns out: I like cats, and they like me.
