Rowen Ember would rather eat dirt than admit to her fabled ancestry, but violent attacks have revealed a mysterious gap in her people’s collective memory.

Alongside a lordling, a bounty hunter, a markswoman, and a young rebel, Rowen must finally face that fairy tale that haunts her family name.
