I left X a couple of years ago now, it's just become a site for complete haters. Have some good (sometimes heated) debates here but no name calling and insults. So all good so far
The problem with the UK is that many brits are apathetic to politics making it easier for weird people to get elected with a low electoral turnout. My hope when the next election comes, the centre majority come out in force to protect their rights from Farage and Co.

Most of them. My brother in law was a career officer and despised Labour, even though my parents were both union convenors and constantly told him about what unions had done for everyone. The Tory’s always visited the Bobby’s convention and promised them a rise every year, that was it

The Labour PR team need to be sending MPs on TV all this week to explain clearly what these changes are and what they will do for people. It’s great all the work going on, but the media aren’t trumpeting any of this
Well said. Thatcher certainly didn’t look after the ex-servicemen after the Falkland’s and there are so many who fall outside of society after leaving the services

No doubt about it. Andrew’s got caught out due to his own stupidity, but he wouldn’t have travelled alone or booked the trips. Anyone he travelled with or organised for him have to be questioned
