Looks like the MetLife turf just did the Giants best wide receiver.

Can we please put grass on that damn field?

@markfishkin.bsky.social Please add “Built on a Stephen King novel burial ground” to the list of reasons why people don’t go to games here. So tired of having to dodge monsoons to go to games and I only go like 5-6 times a year.

Just put a full roof on it at this point. Parking lot too 🥲

You listen to a podcast like this & hear Mary Immordino-Yang explain what learning & teaching are really about, then you hear a Secretary of Education talking about “A1 classes” and you kind of die a bit inside at the gap between them.

So sad.

People who send their kids to private school have decided we don’t really need a Department of Education.

That’s pretty grim. 🧐🤨

All of the people who voted for this organized, televised cruelty are going to feel hollow as hell when a bunch of these people are removed and nothing in their lives actually changes, and the things that do get worse. They won’t admit & will claimed they were lied to, but we know better.

So later when he is released & (rightfully) sues for unlawful imprisonment…can only the Trump voters get their taxes raised to pay for that or…? 🧐👀

I didn’t vote for “willfully defying a court order & walking into a lawsuit…”

I didn’t have “Trump Rick Ross Mashups” on my 2025 Bingo card, but here we are.
President Trump on Wednesday commuted the federal sentences of Larry Hoover, who was convicted of leading a notorious gang from inside an Illinois prison and who was also convicted of murder. Hoover still has over 100 years left to serve on state charges. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/28/u...

Just did a large furniture order, made in America, but with some foreign sourced components; the store had a $250 up charge specifically due to the tariffs.

Currently, I am tired of all the “winning.”

It’s ok, man. We got a childhood w video games, teenage years w semi-affordable college & a 20s-30s with non-ridiculous rent.

Plus, our music & movies def best today’s dreck by a mile. I’m good.

Good pod, but listening to this is infuriating. Between this & the “Kamala wasn’t ready” book a few weeks ago, it’s hard to avoid the feeling that the Dem leadership completely blew this from Biden, Obama, Schumer on down.

The selfishness of it all is galling.

‘83-84 was my first season watching the Knicks. Rory Sparrow. Trent Tucker. Bill Cartwright. The Man Bernard King. I recall beating Detroit.

Beating the Celtics in the playoffs though…is a rare, rare event for us.

Enjoying it tonight.

The Knicks season started with a 23 point loss against the Celtics.

The Knicks ended the Celtics season with a 38 point loss in the playoffs.

Pretty, pretty good.
