The #recycling rate for Large Household Appliances in 2020 was 76%, which is higher than the overall #WEEE recycling rate of 52.8% 🏠

Over 90% of LHA collected in 2020 was treated here within the #UK! The rest was exported for treatment 🚢

Our biogas plant at Gateshead has an annual processing capacity of 80,000 tonnes ♻️ That’s a lot of food waste!

From this #waste the plant will generate over 650m3/hour of Biomethane for injection into the National Grid via #NorthernGas Networks ⚡

Did you know, if you sell #vapes by law you must provide an option for consumers to dispose of vapes on a one-for-one basis under the #WEEE Regulations 🔄

Vapes can then be sent to be recycled by companies such as ourselves! 🙌🏻
