Might as well do one of these "introduction posts" now that Bluesky is more active

I'm DragonGuy and I'm a video game/movie/anime enjoyer from Finland

I also do videos on Youtube, and I focus on video essays and character analysis videos.

this is what happens when you're stuck on a project for months and let other ideas simmer for a long time

it helps too that the video is a HELL of a lot shorter than the previous one
It's been less than a week since my last upload, and I'm already almost halfway through editing the next video LMAO
Mission: Impossible

It kickstarted my crazy love for this franchise and convinced me that, at least career-wise, I'm in the right place
In case you missed it: I uploaded a new video earlier this week!

Surely this would be something you could watch over the weekend, right? 😜
Pick a cel-shaded game, any cel-shaded game

Chances are it looks incredible
Likes and reposts are appreciated as always 🥰
The video is uploading.......
I'm extremely sorry this video has taken as long as it has

I got distracted by SEVERAL other things throughout the year, and when I had the chance to pull the plug on it, I was way too deep into the project to cancel it

But we're on the home stretch now so be excited!
TOMORROW (or just next week in general depending on things)

It's finally time.
Dark Cloud GRAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
Fellow YouTubers, name the four biggest inspirations for your channel:
In fact, here's a nice little sneak peek

Y'all deserve it for waiting so long
forreals though I've been getting distracted and/or depressed by other things for the whole year

I have only about two and a half segments and the conclusion left to edit so I hope I can lock in next week and finish this thing by the end of the month
You WILL see things that I liked in 2024 and you WILL like and subscribe
It is my hope that I will get this gosh diddly darn video out this month and treat you to a nice Halloween scare that is 2024 at the tail end of 2025
Started this today!

It's pretty fun but the tank controls are somewhat hard to get used to

Also you won't catch me dead playing this game without save states lmao
Got something that I might play on the spooky month
now I just need to come up with the rest of the plot for the game

we just had a meeting on Discord and we threw around a lot of ideas, now we just need to see what sticks
Exciting things are happening with a game idea of mine!

Got two composers on board 😁
on that note, I'm going to sleep now
Insomniac's Wolverine looks sick as fuck

Now let them focus on Ratchet and Clank after this Sony pretty please? 🥺
Looking back, watching the two first seasons of Chihayafuru during the pandemic might be this for me (or is at least closest to this)

2020 was very rough for me personally and this sports anime about wanting to achieve a dream together just kept me sane under the circumstances
13. Luigi's Mansion (2001)

A delightful little game
No idea if I'll be playing any of the sequels but this one is such a great vibe and has an "old Nintendo" feel to it

The inverted controls may be my sworn enemy but this GameCube launch title still hits
I already have Silent Hill 2 on my backlog but the PS1 RE games seem more "fun" than that and 2 is considered the peak I feel like

I already know the story of RE1 from multiple sources so no need to catch up (actually I know this game's story too buuuuuuuuuuut--)
