Recently found a few of the TFCC magazines I need to finish my set at a book store. That left me with 5 to go. Then found an eBay auction with just 4 of those 5. No duplicates. Perfect. Now I just need issue #19 (and Timelines #8) from the years I missed.

The conversation with my son led to me introducing him to pictures of Rally's Rhinox.

My son asked me what the deal was with the tiny Optimus Prime I had on one of my shelves. I had no idea so I decided to do a little research and was pleasantly surprised to find I somehow have (thrifted?) a rare Dairy Queen kids meal toy from the G2 era in 1994. Yup, that's staying on the shelf.

Didn't buy too much at this year's Midwest Gaming Classic. Surprisingly I didn't get a single SNES game. But I did get the final seven Nintendo Power issues I needed to finish my entire set, so that's a feeling of elation I didn't expect.
