The original Final Fantasy Tactics is not only the best selling FF spin off, but its also the best selling tactics game of all time in Japan

Comparing retail launch sales of the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster in Japan with other FF spin offs of the last 10 years.

Better than Stranger of Paradise, but not much else to say, rather mid launch, but not unexpeced given the "simplicity" of the remaster.

Ghost of Tsushima was the first breakthrough title Sony's had in Japan in ages, selling over a million units with around half of those sales being digital.

Yotei sold out, good digital sales are expected, but even with digital I'd expect launch of Tsushima to be bigger.

Ghost of Yotei had the fifth biggest launch for a PS5 title in Japan yet.

It's the biggest launch for a first party PS title since Gran Turismo 7.

A 43% drop from Ghost of Tsushima, more than I was hoping, but not bad given PS5 game sales

No new entries but changes in the order a bit

October is one the biggets months for new releases, we have Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 and Ghost of Youtei (2nd) Pokémon Legends ZA (16th) and Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake (30th)

'm pretty sure its the biggest launch for a non Resident Evil horror game in Japan in a looooooooong time, the closest launch I can think of would be the first Evil Within, and that was 2014.

It's a bigger launch than any Fatal Frame

Let's say launch sales are around 100k, that makes it the series' third best selling game already, behind the first game (293k) and the original Silent Hill 2 (130k), no other Silent Hill game has sold more than 100k in Japan.

Retail launch sales of Silent Hill f in Japan are the third highest of the series, only below the first couple of games.

Most likely the series biggest launch with digital.

About twice as much as last year's Silent Hill 2 remake, which already outsold.

Playing on PC I often lower resolution to get better performance, but you can only play 900p on Windowed?

Why doesn't the PC have all the DualSense features, come on. I'm also playing Donkey Kong Bananza and it's so lame to go back to simple rumble.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan this is great, just a bit in and I'm already hooked.

I was sold on this as soon as it was announced Ryukishi07 would be writing (seriously, play Higurashi it's amazing), but the whole thing completly grabbed me right off the bat.

Switch sales are particularly underwhelming, PS5 did as well as expected.

I was hoping for something over 60k.

Not too bad when comparing with the original Sky series, but rather dissapointing given how much the series has grown since.

Decent digital sales are expected to be decent, and I've heard that there have been some stock issues.

Comparing retail sales of the Trails in the Sky remake with other games of the series with the past 10 years.

Even the remake of a beloved game and Switch version couldn't stop the further decline of the series.

Total retail sales of the Switch version of Minecraft in Japan has 4 MILLION units.

Combined retail sales of all versions of Minecraft are over 6 million units (1m on PSV, about 600k on PS4 and 400k on Wii U), digital sales should put the game well over 10m
