Yeah there is nothing like it. I don't remember PS2 maybe I got that for non Christmas but I def remember PS1 and 360 on Christmas morning. Im gonna cheat and set it all up for him with updates and put it all back in the box for him haha

Yeah it's so difficult to balance it all. The director of the game was very clear that he wanted it to as close a possible to the original. The original director of 97 who is the narrative director of TIC just recently said he wanted to do *new* stuff but wasn't able to.

Truly felt like a table top adventure mixed with a jrpg, but instead playing your typical party, you play a group of adventures throughout generations who are trying to stop the heroes of old. Meaningful choices that actually effect your story both mechanically and narratively. I loved RS2
