Some shots in the OP that just make the characters look really "whatever" in some what are seemingly meant to be striking poses and they just pale in comparison to how good the characters look in the ED

Episode 1 was pretty good, but the thing that stood out to me overall was how on model the art in the ED was.

Looked it up, and the author of the manga did do all the drawings for the ED lol

A series about deep dark depression set in a seaside town in summer is a wonderful juxtaposition to try and nail, I just wonder how the pacing is going to be and the music is going to be a real key to how scenes are conveyed

Starting the anime for This Monster Wants to Eat Me and I've already read the first 4 volumes. Going to be interesting to see how much of the vibe they capture with this adaptation.
